Leveling Tips

 

Well, hello everyone again. I came up with a new guide, which describes some useful leveling tips that should be known. After gathering them from lots of websites, I am now able to create this mini-guide.

Let's start and have fun!

 

 

I) I recommend making an alt to transfer all of your items over to when you need to sell them. This will make it much easier for you and also not force you to return to town when you need to place things on the AH.

 

II) Just like other MMORPGs, you get much more XP by doing quests. I know this might sound obvious, but it's an aspect that has to be cleared because many players like to kill endless hordes of mobs to level up, which is wrong (at least for this game).

 

III) Execute the law of common sense. If you're told to kill a rare/nammed mob try to get him in a single pull. Even if it requires you to kill his adds, die then run back and kill him.

 

IV) The quests need to be grouped and completed at least 2-3 at the time otherwise you will lose time.

 

V) If I tell you to kill 8 dogs then head east and kill 8 cats. Kill the 8 dogs while working your way east to the 8 cats.

 

VI) There are useful and important quests and quests that aren't worth the bother. The Aion leveling guide I've been using shows exactly which quests to skip.

 

VII) Use Key Bindings. This will allow you to kill much faster and also improve your gaming experience.

 

VIII) If you're waiting for a specific item or mob to spawn, don't just stand there! Kill stuff while you're waiting.

 

IX) If the class you're playing has AOE spells and abilities, use them at maximum. Killing 2-3 mobs at one time brings more XP than if you kill just one.

 

X) Always track your quests. This will allow you to ALWAYS know what needs to be done. Also, it wont allow anything to slip your mind.

 

XI) It's also important to know which spec is better to choose for your toon, especially for solo leveling. If you don't know the right spec for your class, a guide will surely tell you that.

 

XII) Don't forget to buy new skills! The faster you kill the faster you level.

 

XIII) Keep some Potions on you! Spending 300-400 Kinah to save you 5-10 minutes of running back to where you were is well worth it!

couldn't agree more with this xp from quests is much bigger from normal xp from mobs
