a problem with my pc

when im playing lineage everything its ok because lineage uses little resurses, but when im playing cod 4 or assassins creed, after some time pc shuts down, because it gets very hot.. what i have to do? i have cleaned it more time and with hoover and nothing helps... maybe someone from this forum can help me?
