i didn't download it from postpacific i dont remember wich site it was i uploaded it by myself to rapidshare i havent search postpacific yet :D

Adriahu ???? Well, better dont download it... adriahu is a hacker br, he know how to.. hum, dont know the word... like zip virus inside of files and it cannot be detect by any antivirus.. Beware, if you Albert86 found it source at www.orkut.com (a comunity like myspace) better dont download it.

No, that is not what i'm saying... just because the scanners come up with infections, does not mean the file is unsafe. This might be the tools that the creator uses that injects information into l2.exe, such as a DLL and hooks onto the client. Some antiviruses see that as a trojan.

 

So, are you saying that this is 100% safe?

No, that is not what i'm saying, there is a chance that it could be safe, chance that it couldn't. There is a source code out on these very forums, some one could have took it, compiled it and put a trojan to go along with it. If the programmer is good enough, this could very well be undetected to ANY anti-virus.

 

My opinion.

Make up your own mind, but think. Why would some one put a trojan to steal your password... this hack is meant for private servers. This most likely wont benifit the maker.

 

L2.exe has encrypted keys... the maker of the trojan would need to put alot of effort to get the keys. Try it out, download a keylogger such as ardamax and test it for yourself. Keys that would normally contain your user/password would come up as AAAAAAAAA 11111111111. It just dosen't work. But on the other side, this could be bypassed.

 

Yet again, maybe they aren't after your l2 information... maybe they are after personnal information.

 

The files are a little different... But somewhat the same. This could be because they used different packers. Could be malicious code. I can't tell you for sure.

      Hello everyone. Long time no see. I've been trying to play L2 on my 4k monitor, however the UI is extremely small.  I checked around the internet and couldn't find a guide on how to keep the resolution high and the UI size a bit bigger. I either get small UI + full resolution (correct resolution of monitor), or normal sized UI but resolution set to full HD (which doesn't really look good on a 4k screen). Adjusting scaling on display settings doesn't change the UI just the text on L2. Does anyone know a way to increase the UI size only and keeping the screens resolution same (4k) ? I'll share a screenshot as an example, and it 's not even full screen mode. https://freeimage.host/i/3cvPVnI
