Ok try some things: Open a .dat file, and save it directly without editing anything; what happens?

 

If that works, try to put an other share, like some weapon for Epilogue, just one line; put it in weapongrp.dat, make sure you got a blank line at the end, and save 413; what happens?

 

Don't ever update the client; just keep a fresh installed system folder that you patched with this patcher: http://www.maxcheaters.com/forum/index.php?topic=107353.0 and try that FileEdit too, it's the one I use

i am almost sure that you do that mistake open file edit go to throne and select CT2.4 Gracia Epilogue cause as default choise has Gracia Final
