I want to now how to improve my FPS, I have too low..

in cod4 only 40-60 .... And I have GeForce 8600GT 512mb..

pff bullsh1t.. i play call of duty 5 years now and listen to me.. first of all you can try formating the pc its wierd but it really works, second use these commands in console /rate 25000 and /cl_maxpackets 100 also /r_multigpu 1 /com_maxfps 333 and make sure that ur graphic settings are not too high

maybe you have not checked l2 option "Decrease background performance"?
