Problem with my CD/DVD Drive

[EN]About 3-4 days ago i saw that the drive recognize the CD-ROM normally but when i put a DVD-ROM the drive recognize it again but it recognize only that one disc is in the drive but it doesn't read the files like it is empty.Yesterday and today i saw that when i put a CD-ROM AND DVD-ROM it doesn't read them  like i don't put any CD in drive.

 

Whats the problem?

First, you should try cleaning the drive's lens..

if that doesn't work, you could also update the firmware of the drive to the latest version (most of the times that's the problem)

 

PS: You don't have to change your drive every year or smth, you just have to buy a good one, keep it clean & up to date..
