skrzypek Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 I have problem with editing weapon textures. Look at screens, when I'm making zoom in, everything is fine, but when zoom out, pleace where parts of textures are scaling is visible and at middle weapon is very dark. It looks like something mess in utx but Im trying everything like 2 hours, and still same. http://images41.fotosik.pl/247/d13fbfa861e827e3.jpg[/img] Here is utx: http://www.sendspace.com/file/dzu6gm
takhs7 Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 have u edited the utx or is the texture from the "original" utx? if its the original then this is wierd :/ .. if u have edited it then could u upload the utx.. ? edit: my bad u have posted the utx.. let me check it. edit2: with a quick look at the utx i can see alot of errors in your settings... why u set all textures to masked (the masked option is never needed btw..)? ??? .. why u made a finalblend and u set alpharef where there isnt even an alpha... ? (just use the shader in weapongrp)... why u set opacity when the texture u set for opacity doesnt even have an alpha and its not even needed? :/ just open the original utx with UTPD and check how it is setup if you dont know what u doing.
skrzypek Posted January 23, 2010 Author Posted January 23, 2010 Well I was taking setings from other guides, and some i take also from UTPD. And those textures are from orginal.
takhs7 Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 yes i see but settings from a guide doesnt apply for all :/ they are just examples.
skrzypek Posted January 23, 2010 Author Posted January 23, 2010 yes i see but settings from a guide doesnt apply for all :/ they are just examples. Im newb in this, many guides just inform what set where and that is bigest problem in my opinion. There is no description about those options so ppls like me do stupid mistakes. Ave I will. #edit Some one can give +1 to Ave for helping me via pm? He solve my problems and more :D. Again thanks Ave ^^ please lock topic
