Guide describes how to change the glow of weapons. not changing the color enchant !! :)

 

i hope you know how to open the file in the system folder weapongrp.dat your lineage 2 the best program will be racing for such L2FileEdit if we can not open weapongry.dat to decode the file by the program l2encdec

that is the dusk sword just look at the last values you can find there :

1 --> "LineageEffect.c_u006" and the following numbers "2.000000 0.000000 ..." are the options for the flames on the sword. with the numbers you can manage how long, fast and fat the flames are.

don't ask me how numbers you have to change exactly. please try it!

with the ".c_u006" in "LineageEffect.c_u006" you change the kind of flames. there are different flames for bows, daggers, hammers, polearn , books and swords.

just have a look on a weapon of the same kind that you want to edit.

 

2 --> "LineageWeapons.rangesample" is responsible for the Glow effect. Allmost same like with the Flames, the numbers manage how long, fat, fast or round the Glow is. And again: please try it!

 

 

Attetion: if a weapon has no value "LineageEffect.c_u006" you will have to put it yourself (copy from other weapon). watch out that you don't miss one of the invisible spaces (Tabs). That can will destroy the full file! you can find them by using the arrow buttons on you keyboard
