1st of all GFX is not just signatures.It should be called Art.And art is not something standard, something that has to be done with C4Ds and brushes and bla bla bla.A simple render with a gradient can be as good as something that needs more than 3 hours to be made.Art is what someones expresses, but it's simultaneously the view of beautiful someone has.

BTW LauQ you talked about emotional. If you mean me I want to tell you that  I am not emo. But yes I feel like this way. "ooh im so sad, gonna make a really sad, rainy, gritty sig now"

I told what MY view is on gfx and art, and TO ME my emotional state doesn't have much influence on the piece of art, and I just gave an example. I could also say: 'I'm very happy, the whole world is smiling at me, I'm making something with much colors and contrast' as an example, I meant not addressing/confronting this example to anyone.

Hmm... Lemme tell you what's art for me then.

 

Art for me is what the majority of ppl regards as art. By that, I mean that i art for me is singing, dancing, acting, sculpture, painting(gfx can be considered as a painting) and literature.

 

Art means freedom of expression, although I believe that real talents will find a way to express their feelings through art whether they are free or not.

 

Sometimes, art is viewed as a commodity, something to be sold and bought.

 

Moreover, ppl aren't indifferent to art and works of art which are considered obscene, vulgur, instigating social unrest caused social reaction.

 

It goes without saying ofcourse that art is very important and a world without art would be colorless, dull.

 

Art is also important because it brings ppl together.

Last but not least, art can make a person or even a people's art unique, just like its customs and traditions preserving its cultural identity.

Ontopic: GFX is an art. Art is something that you create with your imagination. A lot of people think that are GFX Designers...Not at all! GFX Designer is someone who has knowledge for many things about art. Also adding a render,stroke,stock images,c4d doesnt make you an artist. You just make a small part in the category of GFX. Anyway i can't express a lot cause am not good at it :P
