[HELP]Serious help needed

Hello guys.As I was trying to make an avatar for GrisoM I realised that my photoshop can't open GIF images as GIF's.

The layer is locked and there is no animation.I tried to open it as a GIF/PNG/PSD but I failed.

I need some help over here cause I encounter this problem with every image that I am trying to open!

File>Import go to the place where is the file and WRITE the name of the file and you will see it.

file>import>import frames to layer  go where the image is write *.* so it will show u every file in there and choose ur image ..

Well guys I tried it but when I try to import it does not show me the .GIF type of file(!)...

How the -beep- am I going to open a .GIF image and be show as an animated?
