Face Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 Hello guys, I have a dedicated server (Specs: Intel® Core™ i7-920 Quadcore, 8 GB DDR3 RAM, 2 x 750 GB SATA-II HDD Software-RAID 1) running Debian 5.0.3 which hosts some HLDS (Half-Life, Counter-Strike, etc.) gameservers. After the last update from 5.0.2 to 5.0.3 I get some segment errors from my gameservers that causes the restart of them every 10-20 seconds hermes kernel: [57967.221449] hlds_i686[10384]: segfault at 30303030 ip b7e18b43 sp b4698fa8 error 4 in libc-2.7.so[b7da3000+155000] (log from Webmin) I read in other forum and blogs and of course in debian bug report site that is a bug in libc6 2.7... Some friends told me to install a previous version of libc6 (2.6 for example) I have already installed packages like: libc6 (the latest 2.7), libc6-i686, libc6-dev Everyone who want to help me is welcome... thanks
CryStaliN Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 Try to install the lastest version may be work, and be more explicit, and 1 thing you wrong the section of your topic this topic should be in cs support not in bugs bcs these is not a exploit, etc and these kinds [MOVED by Hax0r]
