.:Introduction:.

Hello nabs! It's been a long time since I've made my last share on this forum. So I've decided to make my comeback by a simple but useful share. This share will teach ya how to make a Brush for photoshop....Most of you should know what a brush is.For those who don't:

This will teach you some useful things about what a brush or an .abr file is!

Now let's move on!

.:Requirements:.

1)An up-to-date Photoshop version

2)Some good music

3)A clear mind

4)2 hands and a pair of nuts xD

.:Main part:.

Making a brush is pretty easy.

1)First of all open your Photoshop.I use CS4 Version and I am really pleased as I've never encountered any problem!

2)Make a new file with the following dimensions:

i24vfl.jpg

3)Now you will have to decide something really important about your brush. Are you going to make a brush from zero or are you going to make a brush from an existing image? If you decide to make a brush from zero then just draw something.I can't give instructions on how to do it as it is an issue of your fantasy. In case you've decide to make a brush from an already existing image you have to know that's better to have an image with only few of colors and not to much details.

For example Olympiakos SFP logo:

4)Ok now go Photoshop/File/Open/Place and place your image as good as you can.

Grab the Magic wand tool as i show in the image below...

Then click in the white part of the image.Like I do below,as you can see it automatically selects the white part of it:

Then right click -->Delete and it will automatically delete the white part of the pic.As you can imagine our aim is to make it transparent so it will look really nice :D

Voila,we've got our image transparent as we need it :D:

Our image is more than ready to become a brush. Now Go on the following directory:

Give it a name and voila. We've got a new brush..

The brushes that I've made can be downloaded Here!

.:Ending:.

Thank you so much for bearing with me on another tutorial.

All the credits go to me,I hope that you enjoyed it and that I've helped ya a bit :D

Regards,MD
