Posted

Well, i must give it a big LOOOOOOOOOOOOL

I was trying to make a second user with reading rights only and i modified he's settings. After that i had an impulse to modify my admin settings. And guess what? It worked. LOL

I cant do anything now. I cant create another users, i cant create tables i cant do anything. GZ to mysql developers. To be so stupid to let you to modify the admin rights. Now i tryed everything. I cant get my admin back.

Do you know if there is any posibility to get my admin back without reinstaling my windows?

Its not working. As i was saying. It keeps the old user name (and that user has no rights now). It stops at "Apply security settings" and it tells me: You dont have UPDATE rights ( :o :o :o :o)

I cant create new user since i dont have writing rigths :)

How did i managed to change the admin settings?

Simple. With navicat. Im working for an online server. And exactly this was the point. I wanted to check if mysql allows and admin to delete his admin rights. I prefer to do this kind of tests now. Not when i will be online. And my conclusion is: This is a really lol situation. Is like deleting windows system partition from windows. =)))))))))))) WTF were they thinking when they build mysql?

So, seems like my only solution is to reinstall my OS  :-\ :-\ :-\
