[Search] Server Staff

Question

Posted

I need a good staff for a serious project. I worked very hard for a good l2jServer with custom stuff added. This server will guarantee 0% coruption. I have my ways to keep my word on it. Also, we will encourage the team spirit, party farming and mass pvp's. Here are some features:

NORMAL SERVER FEATURES

Rates:

EXP: 100x

SP: 100x

Adena: 250x

Drop: 5x

Spoil: 5x

Autolearn Skills:

- No SP & spellbooks needed.

- Gain your skills by the level you reach.

NPC Buffers:

- Second profession buffs, dances and songs.

- Buffs/Dances/Songs last 1 Hour and 30 minutes.

- Renewal & Champion last 1 Hour and 30 minutes

- Third profession special buffs last 30 minutes | COV, Magnus, POW etc.

- Possibility to create an "AIO buffer" near the Subclass Changers.

SPECIAL SERVER FEATURES

Bank System

Adena (normal adena)

Gold Bar = 500.000.000 Adena

Coins (Custom exchange item)

Legendary Coins = 10.000 Coins = 4 Gold Bars

Epic Coins = 100 Legendary Coins

Custom Armors

Legendary Armors (Better then dinasty with Mid Grade Stats)

Epic Armors (Better then Legendary with top grade stats)

Custom Wings (nice looking items)

Legendary Wings (Mid Grade Stats)

Epic Wings (Top Grade Stats)

Custom Weapons

Legendary Weapons (Icarus stats + 2 Mid Special Ability)

Epic Weapons (Vesper stats + 2 Top Special Ability)

Custom Castle Cloaks

Every clan member from a clan who owns a castle can wear a cloak with the castle name Inscription on it. Gives 3-5% P/Mdef (the castles are splitted in 3 categories)

Custom Drop Zones

- Solo farming zones (in Parnasus/ Cave of Trials)

- Party farming zones (with some special mobs. Only a full party will resist there :) ) - in Parnasus / Cave of Trials

..... and many other features. Better see them in game :)

So, we need:

- a good core developer

- a good client mooder

- a good web developer for the website

The server will be opened very soon. If anyone is interested please send me a pm or give a reply here, so we can talk.

First server I find that wants to use my mod ^^

- a good client mooder

Perhaps I want to apply for this; you can add me on msn (see below my avatar, left above the pm icon)

I also have some additional idea's or maybe some changes we could discuss ^^

Is it Gracia Final btw? (I assume yes due to the Cloaks)

Yes, i liked the cloaks you made. But i still want to say to you that im unhappy with the kamael cloak. Since im using wings, the cloaks for kamael is not looking so good.

Like someone said. Keep it on topic. A server is unbalanced from the moment you are using 2x rates. Depends on the admins to do their job right. I have a certain age, and i like wings. So we rich to the conclusion that is only your opinion. Tks

Guys try not to flame.

I too think Client Modding is the dumbest thing to do, and its only for people who are too lazy to learn java and get actual unique features, so they use other people's client modding.

Still I didn't comment on this thread, just let them be, its their funeral ;)

Syntax on behalf of the staff, sorry for the flaming.

Just depends on what you do with it; I think the level of client modding here is what you took as general, although some combination of colors still pleasantly suprise me ^^

But, let's say, a server has certain client mods none other have, it can give a nice variation. It also doesnt necessarily have to unbalance, as you could also think small: like making new accessories, changing textures.

Though in the end I have to agree: If i'd be good at Java (and the only reason Im not is because Im too lazy) I would prefer making unique stuff with that :)

So what you think of Aion? ;)

Anyways; thanks for the opinions (I don't interpret them as flaming). Perhaps I could make a patch for people that don't like the look of the wings, so they can use it as tattoo's, but ofcourse that's to be discussed

    • Hi, great work! Are there any bugs? And will it work with a high five?
    • For others that would like to understand in more details:   The login server also uses a protocol (sent by the server to the client in the very first packet). For instance, the C4 client (the one I'm developing my emulator for) expects the protocol number `50721` (or `0xc621`) which works as follow (from what I've gathered): Preamble: L2 packets are divided into two parts: size and payload; As mentioned, every packet starts with two bytes containing the whole packet size (thus including those two bytes, e.g. a packet of size 15 will have the number `15` written onto its first two bytes and a following payload of 13 bytes); For login server, first byte of the payload is the opcode (game server must deal with variable-sized opcodes); Next bytes are the packet content; Before sending the packet, its buffer size (minus the initial two bytes) is padded to 8 bytes (required by upcoming Blowfish encoding); A checksum of the packet is appended at the end, then the payload is again padded to 8 bytes; If the opcode is not `0` (also written as `0x00`), then the payload is encoded by Blowfish; Packet is sent over the network. You can have a look at my implementation (in C++) here (do note I'm assuming little-endian).   In this protocol, the auth packet (`0x00`) sent back by the client is RSA encrypted using the RSA modulus sent in the first server packet, inserted right after the protocol number.
    • Hello guys I wanna buy some  Lessons for an L2J Developer
    • Let me give you something for inspiration and get you addicted to bot AI     And a siege 😛     What I have notice helps a lot the LLM to act real, is to give it a real-persons background. So for each LLM in the context beggining, besides the L2 facts, give it a real-life back story "You are a 67 years old retired nurse who plays Lineage 2 while her husband reads his newspaper, you are calm, collected but get mad if insulted". But that makes for a creative bot but its repetitive. So what you can also do, is pick random 20 news sites and for each bot every 2-3 days, initialize a context that is affected by the "news" the bot reads in the "real world".  So for example there's Iran - US war ok ? You take the news, put it in an LLM and ask it, extract the "abstract feelings" that this news piece invokes into you without mentioning anything related to the news. Then you take the result and inject it to the bots LLM prompt after its backstory.  This leads to some VERY human-like behavior from bots.
