ExTrEmEDwarf Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 Open your image. Go to channels. Right click on Blue channel and select duplicate channel. Press control+m to open Curves. Apply these settings in it :-) Go to filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur and set the radius to 4 pixels. Click on the layers tab to return back to layer pallate. Now, go to select>load selection and in the channel, select Blue Copy Press control+j to duplicate and create a new layer from the selected part of the image. Set the layer style to Screen. Finally, apply curves as shown: - You now have glowing image :) About credits, i dont remember where i found it :s Quote

I didn't heared about something like this till now .. The only tool i know that makes the image brighter it's the Dodge Tool ... and i don't think so that u can get the same effect by using that "tool" you are talking about Quote

ManiakMike Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 I tried that tool on the same image and it's just impossible to get the same effect not even near .... So it isn't a good idea to use it , Better follow the tutorial >.> even if it take more time. Quote
