You caytch fishes the same everywhere, except Hot Springs.

Try not to spend too much time in the same place when you fish, cause the chances to get a fish are lowered when you stay too much in a place

Fishing is based on time not on location. You can be everywhere catching same types of fishes. The only thing you should remember is that the more you fish in a certain spot the less fishes you start to catch as time goes. If you want an easier way of fishing just search a bit as i'm sure that there was a FishBot around here which worked fine and you'll find it usefull too.
