Sуѕтємƒяєαк Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 With this you can hide your drives and access them again with a simple procedure. 1)Go to Start > Run > type "diskpart" and press enter. http://i25.tinypic.com/2pqs4qt.jpg 2)Wait till it says "DISKPART>" and type "list volume" It will show all the drives your computer has. http://i29.tinypic.com/2hftp4z.jpg 3)Let's say you want to hide volume 4. You type "select volume 4", press enter and it will say "Volume 3 is the selected volume" http://i29.tinypic.com/jb3eaa.jpg 4)Last step. Type "remove letter E" (or whatever your volume's letter is, check step 2) Wait till it says "Diskpart Removed the Drive letter". http://i29.tinypic.com/9i64qq.jpg After that you have to restart your computer and..done! Windows XP is not having capabilty to identify the unknown volume. Your Data is now safe from unauthorised users. ;) To access the content of hidden Drive again, repeat the same thing BUT in step 4 type "assign letter E" And everything will be back to normal. Credits go to me =)

Sуѕтємƒяєαк Posted July 17, 2009 Author Posted July 17, 2009 mmm have some program to do this more easy? im bad whit this stuff.. Well I explain everything in the guide, just follow the steps! You are free to search google, but I don't rely on programs that mess with my hard drives.
