[Guide] How to change Counter-Strike Background

First download a background from here: http://www.cstrike-planet.com/dlx/cmdmenu

 

Backgrounds for the left are for counter strike source and from the right for counter strike 1.6

 

When you download your background extract it.

 

Copy the file background01.vtf to cstrike\materials\console

 

Open CS and enjoy your new background  ;D ;D

ops..! i searched but i didnt see it... but.. this is a different way to change the background.. in that post you have posted it says about 2 programs, this way i told does not require any program :)
