About Nintendo Wii console [help]

Hey guys, im thinking about to buy nintendo wii games console so i want to ask something about it.

1. what kind of disc do i put to wii computer cd/dvd?

2.I dont want to buy those expensive games on wii, so if i downlaod them from internet can i burn them to cd/dvd and play on wii? doesnt wii have some protection from not-original disc?

3.How about memmory cards? do i have to buy them or wii have hdd or something like that to save games.

EDIT: oh ye almost forget, how many players can play 1 game 1 , 2 , 3 ,4 ? and how many playing pads can be connected to wii, coz i saw when people was playing 4 player games so does wii can do that? 4 players at once with 4 game pads?
