I'm afraid there's not such a program...You cannot edit .bsp files unless you decompile them.

You can't edit brushwork or add or remove brush entites without decompiling and recompiling the map. However, for changing the properties of entities (such as music), you can easily open the BSP in a text editor, browse to the music declaration, and modify it. Entspy performs the same function in a UI.

Gna gna. Interesting program hax0r. ... interesting for Source Engine =)

But he needs something for HL1 BSP Files. So how can we help you? There is no way, but decompile.

1. Use a program like "BSP2MAP" to get a MAP file from a BSP file

2. Use the "Valve Hammer Editor" to modify the MAP file.

3. Compile it into a new file.

With the valve hammer editor you are able to create a map. Plus u can midify the old ones IF you find the .rmf files that are suitable for valve. But in the forums of superjer. (The site with everything about mapping) it sais that first you must take permision from valve to modify them and second you are going to get serious problems on the maps Such as leaks and destroyed brushes or entities. Trust me. This is true. I tried it myself.
