[Guide] How to Find Protocol! (C4+C5 Servers)

You can find protocol by using hlapex

1. Open hLaPEx.exe

2. Wait 8 seconds and press (RUN)

3. Open L2.exe (Now you should see text "Injected: TRUE" on hLaPeX main window.)

4. Back to hLaPEx and go to "Sniffer" -section. Press the Capture button.

5. Log in the game (If you cant go pass the login screen then make a new account without hLaPEx first.)

6. Go back to hLaPEx and find:"ProtocolVersion" from the left and press once on it. The protocol is shown on the right side of the program.

What Chronicle is it? C3,C4, C5, Interlude? Mayby server is protected against hlapex? Could you log in with the account earlier?

i dont know the server is protected... is c4 , www.lineage.ro  im only need ip port protocol :((( for walker ,i only can get it with hlapex? thanks a lot

Well I'm not gonna download it since it has updater. I hate updaters.

Port & IP without hlapex:

 

1. Open l2.exe

2. write acc name and password and stay at the "server selection" -screen

3. Start -> run- > cmd -> netstat -n  ,and find the port

ok , ip and port i think that is 85.186.68.139 and port 2106 but protolversion without hlapex? :S

99% server has login server 2106 and game server 7777 i mean port ofcourse :)

correct and IP is in the l2.ini folder along with everything else

On retail, protocol is used to determine if a user is fully updated to the latest version upon game server connection

This has no real use on private servers except that the server will drop you if you're not the specified protocol

 

it has no other use.
