Mariadb is set to bind only to 127.0.0.1 and if netstat for example shows a second column like "listen 0.0.0.0:*" which is kind of confusing but actually represents potential remote addresses which can connect which because of bind to 127.0.0.1 means only 127.0.0.1 can connect. If you disable the firewall and try to connect from outside you will see it is not possible. Thanks for the commands, I do know about these but had not thought about them, thank you 🙂 I will probably make some updates to the escipt this week based on yours and others feedback 🍻 -
what ??? as long as they keep trying to plant something bad... it's inevitable, I'm already selling several customers this new pack. is something they can no longer avoid. Greetings. -
you must open ports for login/gameserver and give the external ip to the configs -

Hi forum, I have the following question: to allow connection from outside the lan, where should i enter the external IP address? that is, in l2db.sql during installation and then in which .ini file because i'm not able to get them to connect from outside the lan. Do the ports need to be properly opened?
