Help Msql Problem

Sorry if its wrong place to post, but i have problem with website config files which must to show server online offline status, i put my ip root pass and ect. But when i try to launch website its gives me mysql error, my server and myql is in VPS server, what i do wrong?

and u need make mysql external connection.

u can google it keyword "mysql external connect", "mysql remote access"

try reduce php version, or chnage all to mysqli_....
