and what's the point?

i mean, as a player i want to find a popular server,  a server with a decent online amount, how i will know about that if you don't have vote system?

You seriously think that the vote (or FB like) amount reflects the popularity of servers? You may have never heard about player amount manipulation such as fake players (w/o intelligent AI), fake online stats, dualboxes, offline traders, bought FB likes, ads, etc...

 

The game is dying there is no such thing as "popular server", only its delusion, servers with few hundred people + some nice decoration to deceive some retard to make them believe that they're playing on a popular server - and all of that is for nothing but the hope of donate. :)

Omg, so fail. If a server doesn't have real votes, it kinda sucks.

The catalog is not based on votes, its ranking the Lineage 2 servers based on grand opening dates, giving a chance to all the listed servers equal. Thank you for your opinion, but many players nowadays like this style, I guess this is not for you. Have a good day!
