Db_Installer Issues

haveing a problem with installing a server.i have the server properties and login properties set also got my path and correct mysql version in the instaler.but when i click to insall the db it just blinks and thats all.you can right click on it and it acts like it wants to run goes through the motions but never makes a vars,txt file and installs nothing (no tables).

 

now i do have a server in and running but it was copied from my old system and already has backups and vars.text in it from before.And it fired right up but since i nstalled win 8.1 i cant get a new install to go in.

 

what did i miss?

I had the same problem, i made screenshot during that blink and found out that the Path(in the installer bat file) to Java JDK was not updated.

i see where it asks for mysql info  everything is filled out could maybe be a variable in wrong?
