Help Weird Problem... Can't Save More Than 1 Line In File Edit... H5

Hello everyone,

 

I'm trying to add some Dragon Weapons to my friends and family server, but this is what happens:

 

"I'll use the Antharas Bow and Antharas Sword for example"

 

So I open File Edit, add the item name line to the itemname.dat file, Antharas Bow, then I press enter in the end of the line, so it jumps to the blank line.

 

I save the file and then start l2.exe and it works, ok.

 

Then, I open the itemname.dat again with file edit and I try to add a new weapon, Antharas Sword... Again I paste the custom item line, press enter in the end of the line and save, ok...

 

The client crashes as soon as I launch l2.exe...

 

 

The custom weapons lines are ok, because if I add the sword first, it works too... same with all the weapons... it just crashes if I try to add any other item...

 

 

Anyone able to help me? =(

you start search a l2fileedit tutorial because i see you don't know the basics

first you need to know that you can't have extra spaces in lines, only if you know how to set it !

second case you need to manage the new ids

you need to manage the server files too

I got it working with another file edit!

 

But there's still a problem, the dragon weapons in the forum arent complete for h5 =( a lot of weapons are missing

they aren't complete in general..
