  what causes this prob ?

1) on config for login server did you add user/pass for database authentication?

2) did you change database name?if you did then you have to change it and on config file..

wrongly spelled db name... unknown database "loginserver_beta"

in config i changed the password but i cant find any option to change the db name

There should be something like URL=jdbc:mysql://localhost/l2jdb

Change it to URL=jdbc:mysql://localhost/loginserver_beta
