Is It Worth To Open L2J Interlude Server?

Hello everyone,

 

I would like to know what is going with Lineage2 Servers.

 

What really i need to have a good L2Java Interlude PvP server with stable online players? If i open the server is it sure that i will get DDos attack in some days? I mean did every lamer learned to be DDos attacker? Also which Interlude project do you prefer as most completed for PvP server?

You can work on l2jacis for stable gameplay without any serious problems but for me interlude is already dead , if you really like interlude and you want people i prefer you a custom server.
About a pvp server you need a lot of time for advertise it you need to reach over 300-400 people for a good pvp but the most people who try that close the next days cuz of low community.

Bro, thank you for your answer. As i checked aCis forum there are some problems with sieges and i read that there are serious common bugs like multi class etc. I don't confirm that there are these bugs i just tell what i read and i didn't tried. Is is truth? And what about DDos, is it really serious problem today or it can be solved with some stuff? Sorry me because of my questions i was far from Lineage2 servers last years and i want to know what's going.

My opinion is to make Server with other client... by starting from Freya until High Five... There aren't alot servers pvp/mid rate @ both clients.And also the population will be more than the population where have got an interlude server.... You just have to check for a clean project to add your own usefull modifications such as npcs/java codes... Plus that most high five projects don't need so long edit at least to the balance classes.

Sorry me, i didn't wanted blame you or your work. And i want to thank you for your great work. Maybe it was lie what i read. I told that i didn't tried aCis or any other pack. Just for information i asked what is better. Of course every pack has avantages and disavantages and nothing is completed, only i wanted to have an idea about what is better for PvP server. And you are more experienced than me, can you recommend something? :)

Depend what gamestyle you want to create. Well, test both packs (frozen, acis or hellas) and take which you like more :)
