Help L2.ini File Serveradd Change

I am now at the part to were I am ready to put my server up and running, but now my issue is that when I go and change the AerverAdd in the L2.ini file, then try to start the game, nothing happens. And when I mean nothing happens I mean I dont get the Icon that pops up when you start the L2.exe application. I have been to this link and tryed to server it but all it gave me was system DLs and file editors, witch i have.
