[Help]How To Make A Completely New Model Of An Item ?

As you see from the name of the topic, i would like to know how to make a new model of an item ( i will add textures by myself..)

Any programs to suggest ?

well first u need an program to make models/edit the old ones like maya (sucks imo)

i make a new race for myself and i will replace the dwarf race , so i open the dwarf model , make my own and save it .. its all ... dunno how to do it withound overwriting something so it shows up in game :/

well Alias maya is the full name (or if u want a link priv msg me), just try looking in a torrent site , and that video is Japanese ... but its a example
