New Changelog of today's update :)

 

2012.05.22

 

  • Fully rewritten olympiad engine (added missing features such as 3v3 olympiad, last month tops. New engine should fix a lot of issues from the old version) Note: New olympiad at the moment is available only in x5 server but it will reach x12 in a few days.
  • Added missing htmls.
  • Added various npe checks.
  • Improved cubic removal.
  • Increased instancedzone storage for better performance.
  • Added new decompiled version of emperor_shumeimman.
  • Fixed an issue when abort attack function would not stop attack completely (for example, attack would interfere with playscene packet)
  • Added additional checks to check if instance is fully created before teleporting players inside.

  • Added try/catch structure for npc seeCreature to prevent knownlist updater from crashing.
  • Removed obsolete loggers.
  • Rated How to Oppose Evil and Take Your Best Shot quest.
  • Fixed an issue when olympiad points were only initialized after first talk with oly manager.
  • Fixed castle dungeon siege time entry checks.
  • Fixed an issue when summons could attack their owner and receive pvp flag for doing that.
  • Added AI desire debugger for pets.( GM feat)
  • Fixed issues with no-restart zones.( for example baium zone)
  • Fixed an issue when players could cast through baium doors.
  • Enabled skill reuse delay addition on item equip.(talismans and simmilar items)
  • Enabled mana(time) consumption on some item skill casts.( mostly active talismans)
  • Improved next siege date calculation to not "miss" next validation period.
  • Fixed an issue when fortress guards could be attacked by their owners.
  • Fixed olympiad info match end packets.( caused multiple info)
  • Minor olympiad cleanup.
  • Fixed divine power bonus.
  • Fixed counterattack activation on lethal strike
  • Updated counterattack damage formula up to freya.
  • Fixed various issues with My Teleport system.
  • Added missing range checks for npc say broadcast.

Server ChangeLog (2012.05.28)

 

  • Fixed rim kamaloka decompile issues that lead to wrong reward.
  • Improved fake death and similar skill removal on stand up or on when damaged.
  • Improved npc draw range for players (if lag has increased - reduce your npc/pc draw distance and object count appropriately).
  • Fixed an issue when dead pets could receive owners buffs.
  • Increased range from where owner could forget his pet.
  • Fixed an issue when dead pets would stay in game when owner is offline (pets will resummon as dead when owner logs in).
  • Improved pet removal when it loses its owner (it will unsummon itself to prevent losing pet item. This should help with unressurectable pets too).
  • Added newer decompiled SOA ai.
  • Fixed an issue when target cancellation effect would stop players from running.
  • Fixed an issue when buffs/debuffs with ave_none visual effect would cause excessive npcInfo packet flood.( ave_none should not be sent at all)
  • Fixed movement issues after shadow step.
  • Fixed sweep skill out of range issues.

Killer event test run is planned for today 8pm GMT+2 in L2-Country x12 server.

 

IMPORTANT: if you want to participate you must launch the client through the updater so that your patch is updated.

 

x5 players  or any other players are very much welcome to join too if you are interested :) You need simply to create lvl 1 character in x12 since in this event neither level nor stats matter.

P.s. no matter that this is only a test run, prizes are very much real! :)

After searching a few days for some low/midrate without npc buffers and all that kind of stuff I finally found this one. Didn't get high level yet but I sure enjoyed my time here so far here. And still seeing new players show up in lower exp zones gives a nice feeling too.
