Big online doesn't mean good devs.

 

Big online means devs that will work for money. Big money. Big money comes from god knows where. Big online comes from name, popularity, advertisement and mutual interest. If several big parties agree on playing on a single server, more will flow in naturally. Deving has nothing to do with it.

 

Development -  Determination of the best techniques for applying a new device or process to production of goods or services.

 

On all the servers you mention, there is no direct sign of deving. Fixing/adjusting =! deving. It is just fixing and adjusting.

 

Nekys is a good dev. There are lots of good devs that make servers which are unique, put features that no one else can do. Deving is creatively applying imagination to practical things.

 

Current L2 playerbase is just the softcore leftovers of what was once a large community of proud internet warriors. But their pride was justified. Now you just have whining kids that don't like the color of the cereal and cry they don't get pancakes for breakfast. they will never be satisfied because they actually do not want to be. They just need to flame and burn the people that work hard.

Point is that I am not a developer. I may be called sysadmin, internet engineer or whatever, but I am not a developer. But for sure my skills on running servers are a lot above the average.

 

Other this little clarification, sandpants is completely right and personally I am highly suprised that there is at least someone speaking this opinion (I wouldn't be able to state the same that clear and nice).

I'm playing on this server for a weeks weeks and really like it! Ok population is a bit low atm but with help of other members here we can change that!  GM listens to players, very friendly community and very stable server+ good bot protection, what do you wish more..

server is good i play there for a month. only bad thing it doesn't have many people but this can change if more people join!

 

the best thing are that there is always someone from the team to listen to your concerns and to improve gameplay somehow.

 

many people fail hard with the anti-bot system and they cry and quit but this place is for real men only, not pussies with bots!

 

i wish more people join and especially Greek to make one strong clan and dominate server!
