New Server in the Making! Save a Spot!

A new server is the making and I am looking for people with any kind of knowledge to take part! BlOodDevil will be the main coordinator and I want YOU guys to come and sit with me so we can talk, reject, reinvent and create! Here is my idea! I am expecting your critique.

Rates

xp x500 or more so leveling wouldn't consume too much time

drops x1 however raid drops will be entirely custom

adena x500 so they will have actual value in-game and transactions will be made using them

 

Enchanting

 

Enchanting is the thing every player new to lineage 2 found to be the hardest cookie... therefore what I suggest is that enchanting isn't what will make the difference but what will is armor sets... I want enchanting to be kinda easy for everyone. Not too easy but not hard either. Let me explain the armor sets concept. I am thinking that there will be 3 armor sets. The first one will be really cheap and will basically equip newcomers... The second set will require a week of total burnout to get meaning that an average player will have some trouble acquiring it. The third set however will be insanely expensive plus it will require a high pvp count. (Only 2-3 players might have it)

 

Safe enchant +3

Max enchant +8

Enchant success rate    using normal scrolls 60%

                                                blessed scrolls 100% (affordable and sold in the GM Shop)

 

Player Versus Player system

 

As the primary PvP zone I would use the good old Primeval Isle where buffers, other npcs and a good spawn protector will be added. For every pvp there will be no reward but the pvp point itself. Lets not forget that pvp count though lets you access the final armor set. There will be no pvp name color system. Only recs will be changing your name's color.

 

Farming areas

 

Safe zone for rookies farming adena to obtain and enchant the first armor set.

Standard zone for those farming for the second and relatively expensive set (PvP/Pk zone)

Hardcore zone for small parties including a healer who want to farm more effectively on stronger mobs

Raids for clans and 2+ parties

 

GM Shop

Even the best armor sets will be included. Potions/Scrolls Soul & Spirit Shots too. Special coin to adena exchanger. Items will be purchased mainly using adenas added the exception of the last set which will require special coins and  a pvp count. Bottom line the GM Shop will include everything.

 

Noblesse

 

Noblesse will be hard to get and there will be a very very few heroes.

 

Buffs

 

There will be buffers having almost every buff to offer. Players will be able to create their own buff sets.

 

Aguements

 

The rates will be very low and it will be particularly tricky to get a skill... passive or active.

 

Additional info

 

Emphasis will be given on sieges and territory wars! as well as on farming.

Events such as TVT, CTF, LMS (Last Man Standing) will take place every 2 hours, 3 hours and 12 hours accordingly.

Classes that tend to be avoided will be boosted so that they become playable!

The goal is to achieve lots of farming but even more pvping but the ultimate achievement will be obtaining the third armor set maybe becoming a hero and NOT enchanting!

Clans will be a VERY important in-game. A Clan-mate bond will be very strong and people that belong to clans will receive really big benefits. The player will need the clan and the clan will need the player. We will focus on teamwork! Big-ass team work! Both in PvP and farming. Clans will be helping their members get equipped!

As for the sets i recommend using Dark Crystal as the first one, Apella as the second one and Dynasty as the third.

 

Summing Up, playing in this server never leaves you at peace. There is always something to do, whether it is making noblesse, geting your gear etc. Enchanting WON'T be a problem. The currency will be based on adenas and another type of coin. Clans will be of GREAT importance and there will be much emphasis given on team work when it comes to sieges or equipment. Players will always have a goal to achieve.
