First one I don't know if its yours. But for the second one I have some thing to tell you. First of all, that black corners must be removed its not proper into the image. Secondly, ok the effects its good but you dont give enough colors to your image. You can use some gradient maps with soft light, Lighten and etc to give some colors into your image.
