Σε ηλικία 86 ετών πέθανε από ανακοπή καρδιάς ο ηθοποιός Αθηνόδωρος Προύσαλης, ο οποίος μετρούσε παραπάνω από μισό αιώνα στο θέατρο καθότι είχε πρωτοεμφανιστεί στην σκηνή το 1953 στο έργο «Ο τρομερός καλόγερος». Αμέτρητες επίσης οι κινηματογραφικές ταινίες του, με πρώτη το «Στραβόξυλο» (1952) και τελευταία την «ΠΟΛΙΤΙΚΗ κουζίνα» του Τάσου Μπουλμέτη, παραγωγής 2003. Γεννημένος στην Κωνσταντινούπολη, ο Προύσαλης σπούδασε στη Δραματική Σχολή του «Ωδείου Αθηνών» και συνεργάστηκε με πολλούς θιάσους του ελεύθερου θεάτρου, ανάμεσα στους οποίους και το Τέχνης. Χαρακτηριστικές εμφανίσεις του έχουν γίνει σε ταινίες όπως οι «Τζένη Τζένη», «Καλώς ήρθε το δολάριο», «Βαβυλωνία», «Η Ρένα είναι οφσάιντ» αλλά και το «Μετέωρο βήμα του πελαργού» του Θόδωρου Αγγελόπουλου. Το 1990 ο Προύσαλης κέρδισε τιμητική διάκριση στο Φεστιβάλ Ελληνικού Κινηματογράφου Θεσσαλονίκης για την ερμηνεία του στους «Αθηναίους». Τον τελευταίο καιρό ο Α.
