Can you talk normal, your text makes my eyes bleed. I think you said my clan? I do not have a clan, even when I played Paradise and Azure I was clanless. Edit: Oh I think I see now $GC. For the record I joined SGC for L2Fantatstic and did not know them prior to that. I decided to not play there as I was to busy with Nostalgia so was removed from clan. So yeah while I joined them I never played with them or was a active part of the clan. I do not know them and am not friends with them....period.

Nanaki was not. Celes had by far the biggest online count of all 3 servers until it got attacked. I decided on rates after 6 weeks of contemplation on it, talking to people and clans around the community and our poll which ran for a month. The results and opinions were heavily on rates from 5-10x. I realize there are lots of people that would love a nice mid-rate server but for now there were many more that wanted a low-rate. As I stated before who knows maybe there is a mid in our future. We certainly have not put all this time and effort into development to be around for a short time. We plan on being around awhile.

To date over 100 bugs fixed and many missing C5 features added. Rocking along really well!

Said what? And know I have nothing to do with Insomnia. From what I can see all they did was use Azures files and never fixed shit, wheres we have developed our own extender and vastly improved Azures scripts. Big big difference between projects.

Really imo it is exactly people saying that all over the community that is a major contributing factor as to where L2 private servers stand today which is a shadow of what they used to be. Azure honestly would have had more luck if they would have just stuck with C5 at least imo. 1k to 1.5k would be great and I think we will see those numbers fairly easy. 2 months later will they be the same? maybe not all depends if some of the larger clans decide to quit server hopping and stick around for awhile.

Personally I think people have mostly become tired of bugged, incomplete, and unstable servers, as well as playing the same Chronicles over and over. There haven't really been any C5 servers since Azure and even Azure had a lot of missing C5 content. So far the response we are getting from people on C5 is amazing but only time will tell, the community is pretty unpredictable these days. :) For me the fun in L2 was always the time and work it took to get geared up and than the resulting long-term competition for server domination which used to last years. Hopefully people will make those times happen again and stick with the server instead of server hopping which is so common these days. The fact that we are bringing the first and only complete C5 server hopefully will stand for something. Either way it has already been quite a bit in CB and on our IRC, and I don't see that stopping anytime soon :)

I can't edit my first post so here is the updated rates etc.. The server is still in development and the features listed here are by no means final and this list will be updated frequently. Nostalgia Platform and Protection Platform - C5 Official (Our Own Extender) Bot protection - Full client protection. No bots work. Dual Box - Allowed. 2 client max per computer. Our client protection will limit your computer to 2 clients per computer. Location - East Coast (Montreal). This location was chosen for its excellent routing to North America and Europe/UK. Rates XP - 7x SP - 7x Adena - 7x Seal Stones - 7x Drop -7x (chance) Spoil - 5x (amount) Quest - Retail Epic Drops - Chance x1, amount x1, Adena x7. Normal Raids - Chance x1, Adena x7. Craft Materials - Drop x2 (amount), Spoil x5 (amount) random chance from 1-5x. Class Quests 1rst Class - Buyable for Adena 2nd Class - Buyable for Adena 3rd Class - Quest Noble - Quest Sub-Class - Quest Epics All epics set to 4 hour spawn window to reduce camp times. Example Baium spawns every 5 days +- 2 hours. Oly Time (To be determined) Hardware CPU - E3 1245 4 cores @ 3.4Ghz RAM - 32GB ECC 3 Hard Drive - 2x 128GB Intel 330 SSD (Solid State Drive) Completely eliminates the IO bottleneck so many OFF servers have issues with. Overall performance will be faster and there will never be any type of item lag. Connection - Dedicated 100mb burstable to 1gbit/sec

The poll which ran for a solid month said much different :P Anyways rates are decided, maybe in the future we will look at something around a 15x server.

We use some of Azures scripts only. We developed our own Extender for this which is almost done. Azures scripts were actually missing quite a bit of C5 content which we have almost finished adding and testing.

We will be moving the site over to our main webserver and launching our main site/cms in the next couple of weeks. CB is kicking ass, and we are fixing bugs and adding missing C5 features every day. All the main features are finished and almost tested well enough for a live server. Still lots of small things popping up but they are easy fixes just a bit time consuming. The server is getting very solid and as close to 100% C5 retail as anybody has seen on a private server. We will be testing Rune and Benom this weekend which should be a lot of fun if we don't get raped >:D Fun stuff!

CB is rocking! We are moving ahead very quickly.

We aren't using Azures extender but yes we are checking dupes thoroughly and know about the majority out there. We encourage people to try and exploit in our closed beta. So far nobody has found one working, so that's great :) I'll start a new thread for this tomorrow as I can't edit my first post and a lot has changed.

There is no ETA right now. Currently the server is in CB and that will take as long as it takes to fix everything that the testers find and complete the missing features. :)
