There were a bunch of bans on our caching servers. we cleared them just to be sure.

The last few days you are the only one having a issue. PM me your IP and I'll check it in the firewall ban lists.

I will check out our proxy and caching servers in a bit though i haven't received any alerts from them so they should be ok.

yeah you will get those errors on connecting because it is trying to test those on our Rproxy (Nginx) that is in front of the main server. What do you get for a error in your browser? Does it mention Varnish or just times out?

There have been a couple other people that had issues. try and clear your cache and flush your dns and see. What is the exact error you are getting? This will help me figure out if it is our caching servers, Rproxy, or main server that is giving you a issue.

It was never about couldn't it was about time. Some things on OFF files can be very time consuming to fix and we just didn't have the time we needed. And yes NO wipe.

7x opens again in 2 days and here is what we have been up to: - Project rework, rebuild, cleaning and optimization with enhanced logging through ASM hooks - Crash bugs have been repaired and the server is stable - C5 clan system has been repaired and is working 100% - AI fixes for Frozen Labyrinth, and Flamestone Giant are complete - Drops in Den Of Evil have been corrected - Various quest fixes (mostly ai) - Extensive extender and packet work - Turn Undead fixed and lethals are correct - herb system tweeks should now be as official - Shortcut bar fixed - Skill enchant routes repaired (packet) - New client patch that fixes the issue with windows being closed when switching between clients. Also updated encryption and changed protection for l2net. - Multiple Geodata fixes. - Zariche handline fixed Bugs we are working on now - Accesory bug where equipped items such as party mask dissappear - Night fishing lures and potions - Attack command bug - Siegable clan halls ( all but Rainbow will be complete shortly after live) - Change clan leader at npc As you can see we have been busy and have fixed a ton of stuff and will continue to do so.

Lol at people thinking that I am Insomnia or that he had involvement with Nostalgia. Insomnia was a joke all they did was use Azures files, never fixed a thing or changed anything. Anyways: I haven't updated this in awhile as we have been so busy in getting things fixed so I guess I'll do it now. Controversy has rebuilt the projects base code and rewritten much of it to eliminate the crash issues we were having on the live server. We have had a great team of community members helping us test on our development server which has greatly sped things up. Today we plan to move the rebuilt project to the open beta server where we will test some more and fix a few known bugs before we open 7x again. The community is still big and going strong and for good reason. we are the only C5 server out there and there are a ton of players that are willing to wait to play that chronicle again. We continue to have many new people joining us and waiting for 7x to go live again. We will have no problem seeing well over 1k just like before we took the server down when we were seeing 1.4-1.5k We have proven that we are here for the longrun and those that want a long-term community are recognizing that. So dead? Hell no, exactly the opposite.

Exaggeration is cool. It crashed this morning thrice and the last time we kept it down until we could get a fix done for the crashes.

There is lot's of pvp going on as long as you are within the average level spread of the server, which is about 40-55 right now.

No it just goes to show that people are obsessed with stupid statistics instead of having fun. Majority of the servers back in the day in the times of Paradise, Supreme etc never had online counts and they weren't needed because people were just having fun instead of obsessing over numbers. Anyways done arguing about it if you don't want to play on the server cause there is no online count than don't, go find another server that has a counter and best of luck to you.
