I asked that he makes PS mods happen(which from what i understand would anyway? or w/e..) and i help him pimp the forum... and trust me he cant buy a "protection", since i cant just hax all accs on every SMF lol.. its only possible on mxc for the exploit i noticed and tbh it happens cuz of mods mistakes, not cuz of smf. idk who posted those, but i did went for it.. and i made an app that turn soff mxc from a 20kb/s connection, no acc needed and tbh its not even something i could be proud of since mxc goes down so easy.. i told maxtor, wanted to make a deal, fix the bugs.. help him with security and he was pleased at least as fare as i saw.. he asked me to help if i can, but what happened from then im not exactly sure, but dw if not sooner, then when anya leaves.. ill do it just for grismo as promised. =) btw.. im sure maxtor will be happy to see you provoking me.. as btw he has a proof of the acc hack..

keyloggers and.... as i told maxtor weeks ago, its fairy easy to steal any user/moderators acc from this forum.. we loged 9 staff accs for crying out loud and when i offer even a fix to maxtor... well all ill say is that its stilll not fixed and i dont believe it will be, all that changed is the moderators passwords, which btw can be hacked again so? gl mxc.. youre gonna need it.

My opinion is that it depends on what area you want it to be "best" at lol.. like for example, do you care for executable time, maybe its a big app and cares for memory leaks, os support.. or maybe you want to programm browsers, which i guess has an obvious choice lol.. ^^ ether way.. i think most widely used would be the sharp languages, cuz of the easy/clean syntax and ofc library support is getting to a lvl where you use already existing classes for even the most simple things.. not to mention the schools use it, so.. i guess it cant rlly be any other way. tbh i think you should draw the line at php and a need to compile into native code, cuz cmon.. stuff like js isnt even a new language if you ask me.

+1.. if you want to make a poll like this, you should specify.. in what exactly do you mean best. anyway thats surely not java, however the only "best" thing about it is multi os support.

The truth is.. c# is newer and like stealth said, uses .NET(which comes with windows since xp sp2 and generally all users have at least 1.0) and thus provides much more functionality, basically its easyer to write more complicated things, while c++ is more basic, tho not a lot lol.. the difference is mostly in syntax.. if you see c#, j#... they are trying to make syntax same in more advanced languages and imo that should of been standardized from the start (thank god that at least logic is). Anyway, the most important thing is that.. c# is a language that is not compiled to native code.. which does not necessarily mean that its slower! it does in most cases tho. =P
