well this site will probably have fixed size.. but i usually code all pages in % and make a fluid layer.. where just text says the same.

about pvp balance.. we use retail l2j skills and already updated allot of them, i cant say it will be 100% balance, but lol my dp team has enough geeks that i trust.. to know how a decent pvp feels like and were trying to get close to that.. not close to what NC or anyone else does.. duh its not a wannabe retail server even..

anyway in your case the error clearly states.. the table "messages" doesnt exist.. this basically means ether youre deleting some.. or you have a bad revision of the pack.. in which case you can keep it but id look on their svn for the messages table structure and add it.. gl.

im not sure what you ppl are doing, but with client i have 0 problems since i play l2.. maybe few gg and some socket errors lol, but obviously thats never stopped me and its not going to ether.. i mean.. i added about 600mb of customs to my old test and lol.. nothing changed..

i suppose the plan took a wrong turn, since my datapack dev's exams start next week.. alltho it isnt really a problem, it delays the whole beta project.. cuz i must now spawn all town guards and few farms by myself >.> also still few things needs tests and probably some quick fixes.. not to mention i needed to finish webpages core(design by goddess), which btw is biggest l2 portal coded so fare..(we even have a forum written by me rofl.. wish you happy wannabe hacking).. but the economy and main systems are up so basically we could open today.. but tbh id rather make it complete at least as fare base goes.

so i just decided its best if we announce beta few days before it opens lol.. and i take an extra week to finish servers base..(yes those are the systems listed)

by the way  in Tibia thee use bot,s to one of the moost famous bot used there is tibiabot  (www.tibiabot.com)

personalty i never used it do.

personally i think it would be better fit for a big portal or something that needs allot of space for text..(if you remove inside things), but ether ways.. its a simple and clear design.. which is always nice, gj.. =)

Are you sure you can handle so much shadows?It's going to be a heavy-loading site, as PNG images are going to be needed.Also, it's too big.960px should be a decent resolution for a regular screen-size and should not have any compatibility issues with any browser.Try to resize it a bit.Also try not to have gradients as text-background colors.

 

In general it's good for your first try ;)

also.. once enough ppl plays and nabs start haxing up your server, youll end up in the same position as you are now..

my suggestion is.. learn how to programm or your not an admin/dev anyway.. so dont cry if other kids dont wanna come out and play..

i think any dual core and up with few extra gigs of ram would do.. depends on what and how you run it.. but if we take retail l2j for instance lol.. then i bet software would give you more problems than hardware before you reach the "heavy" gaming..
