  1. Nice map Cedrico. Especially our server map has the location of the fortresses but it doesn't have their name. Thx.
  2. Necro is a very well balanced char. It's very nice in PVE cause it makes nice damage and it has cheap spells. Summons are very good too in PVE. In PVP necros main role is debuffing with curses. Gloom, Silence, Curse Doom or Curse Abyss are a must and mage/fighter bane are also very used. Also Curse Weakness and Chaos are important against fighters. Necros can also sustain a nice amount of dmg because they have TP so they can survive a bit longer than other mages. They also have vampiric claw and dark vortex that allows them to drain HP from enemies. Overall its a pretty good well balanced char.
  3. No ideia but i can tell u that those 8 points aren't important because every archer with the right equipment and buffs, even on shining+focus can reach max critical rate. So, i think u can probably peak the one u like most.
  4. Because in some servers at c3 and early c4 times, shining had less reuse time than draconic. And i dunno if it happens on other servers but on dnet shining+focus gives around 8 crit change points less than draconic+focus
  5. SE -> Emp and WM will help deal more dmg. Get acumen pots from priest or shop. BD -> matk dance, cspeed dance and siren help alot and its a pretty good buffer for SPS. EE -> SPS is a mana whore. Clarity can help alot. Also WM and POW will increase ur damage output. On a low rate server i'd say EE. On a medium/high rate i'd say BD.
  6. Any catacomb is really nice (love the music there). FOG has a really nice environment too.
  7. Depends on ur way of playing. Necro is always a good option, u just need to adapt to some changes that appeared after interlude. After IL, NE is basically a party suporter in pvp with all its debuffs. U can nuke but that shouldnt be ur main task. TP and summon will help u survive a bit longer SH is prob the most offensive one. High INT but low HP. Full buffed u can deal quite a nice dmg. SPS has good cspeed and some interesting damage skills. u will also have cancel wich is a nice add-on. Sorc is the human nuker. Nice damage, best DoT of the game, not a bad Hp compared to other mages and has cancel. My choice would be Necro because of its versatility but sps is also a nice choice.
  8. Funny cause i have almost 100% sure that orc drains have no elemental attribute on official.
  9. Earth atacks are: 1 - decay 2 - antharas attacks 3 - enchanted spoils Thats it :P
  10. Now...thats what i call an interesting post. ty.
  11. Ohh and just 2 more notes that poped into my mind. Sometimes, a player camps a raid boss like ant queen or zaken or w/e. If he's camping it for a long time and calls the clan to help, consider that its quite unfair if the item goes to someone else. Also consider having a few items reserved in case a clan mate drops smth in a clan activity. Typicaly in a pvp sometimes it happens a guy getting pk. If he's a responsable player he wont have more than 5 but sometimes it happens if its a pk spree (happens alot on raid boss farming). If he gets killed and loses an item, it would be nice if the clan can provide him with a substitute. Good luck on ur task. BTW, u didnt told me what server u play.
  12. Be very carefull with who u recruit. Best method i've seen so far was used in a clan from a friend. Candidates were given TS password and played with clan ppl for around 1 or 2 weeks. Then a meeting would take place with the most influent clan members and a decision was made about if the new guy was ok or not. I never saw this in any other clan but its the best method i've ever seen. Yep, forum is important too. Post the clan rules there. Any political decisions should be posted there too (new frienships, eventual alliances, etc.). BTW, golky hunt??? DNET FTW :D Just curious, what server do u play? Well, this is the tricky part. Imagine ur clan has around 60 players. You will need to surround yourself with 4 or 5 that you trust most. Those players will have the responsabily to adivise you in ur decisions (remember that YOU are the lider so its always ur call). Pick players that usually play alot and at diferent times. Their task is to permenantly evaluate player attitudes. They should know the players as well as you and should have a pretty good ideia about wich ones have more potential. Obviously u cant give a valakas or an antharas to a guy that entered the clan last week. Makes no sense. So, just deliver the most important items to the guys that deserve them. Ur advisors may help u picking the top players. A wish list is an ideia but i'll sugest u dont just give what a player wants. I'll give u an example. A mage needs an AM+ACU and he add it to the wish list. Make a deal with him. If he gets de AM, the clan will provide the cristal or vice-versa. This estimulates the players to work. If u have 2 important players and only one item to deliver just do it randomly and (DO NOT FORGET THIS PART) talk to the one that didnt get the item. Explain him that if the clan gets another similar item he will 100% get it. Its very important to give the players the sensation that u care about them (even if u dont :P). A demotivated player is useless in a clan. Depending on the clan, sieges are very important. If u have the ambition of getting a nice castle then you will need a nice alliance (or an incredible amount of luck). You will only get into a top alliance if u go to sieges and pvp alot. No other way. No ally lider will invite ur clan just because u have a cool crest. Work for it. Force ur members to learn how to pvp. If ur clan is pvping then everyone must be there. No excuses allowed (exept camping bosses for nobless or w/e because that quest can be a pain in the ass :P). Top of all, i think the biggest secret is knowing what ur players need before they ask u. Thats the hardest mission a CL has. Thats why i told u, being a clan lider sucks. :P Good luck.
  13. So... u want to be a clan lider. First of all, a piece of advice. DONT DO IT. After the warning being made i'll just give u a few tips on how to run a clan. 1 - Democratic clans. A clan in L2 is not democratic. A lider is a lider and he must enforce his will. If players are not happy, they are free to leave. Obviously, if the CL is a fair one, the players wont leave. Keep ur eyes opened and try to understand players needs and try to satisfy them but make perfectly clear that YOU ARE the lider and your word is final. This a very important issue. If u let players do what they want ur clan will fail. 2 - Drops. Drops are usually a tricky situation because some players might not agree with the way they are being distributed. First of all, everytime u recruit someone new make ABSOLUTELY sure he understands the drop distribution rules. If the new players doesnt agree with them, dont recruit him. From my experience, things work rather fine under the following rules: - All drops from regular raid bosses are random distributed for the ppl that went to that RB. This means that if 2 parties were at the RB, throw a dice to decide what party gets the item and redrop it. - All drops from major bosses must go to clan hall. AND I MEAN ALL DROPS, NOT JUST BOSS JEWELS. These drops will be distributed to players according to their needs. If one of ur players drops a piece of equip and he cant afford to get a new one, u should try to give him one from those drops. - Boss Jewels are distributed according to the importance of the player inside the clan. MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE that no one recives the same boss jewels 2 times. The importance of a player is mesured by the time that player is in clan, time he spends logged in, time he spends helping clan mates, sieges and pvps he attends to, etc. IF AN ARGUMENT ARISES BECAUSE OF DROPS, REMEMBER TOPIC NR 1. UR WORD IS FINAL. 3 - Politics. This is an issue of the most importance. If u cant dialog with other clan liders that forget the idea of being a CL. I will fail. No clan can survive and prosper in L2 without politics. Pick ur enemys carfull and your friends even carfully. Good luck. PS: Enforce Team-Speak or Ventrillo to ALL ur clan members.
  14. Well... macros depend alot on ur char and gameplay style. I'll share a few i use and make some considerations about others i tested and didnt found particulary usefull. If u have healing skills and a decent cast speed, this one can be quite interesting: /target %self /useskill <ur healing skill> The main goal is not waste time in targeting urself when u need heal. Usefull if u play most mage classes. If u play a PS u can use something similar with the healing skill of one of ur summons. Just make the summon target you and heal you. I've also tested CP pots. Not worthy imo. The main reason is that if u move, the macro will stop (at least on my server). I also use the macros with another purpose. I play in a C4 server so i only have 1 visible shortcutbar (dont like alt+F). What i do is open the macro interface and drag it next to my shortcut bar. I wont have fastkey access but its just one clic away. Very usefull for mana pots and ress skills. That way u can remove mana and ress from ur skill bar and leave room for other skills.
