    Hi guys,

     

    My computer was infected with a nasty virus last night. It forced me to do a full reboot of the system using a fresh copy of windows and this set back my work a great deal. The open beta will still proceed as scheduled I managed to pull an all-nighter and bring my comp back to where it was. Luckily I bakced up everything earlier that week :)

     

    Okay! So open beta is tomorrow. We're looking to make a nice bang, nothing too fancy but be sure to tell your friends and brings a group, however many you can ;)

     

    Because beta is a super fun time!

    Okay boys! The best server in the universe is now in beta mode. Our doors open at 20:00 GMT+1 and the beta timer is on our homepage if you're not familiar with how the GMT system operates.     Yea this is what I mean it's difficult to balance.

     

    I was thinking the OLY2 sounds better. But you bring up some good points, the first, is that new players will have no chance. The second is that certain classes will dominate way too hard and prevent your progress.

     

    Emerald style is probably the best option where everyone starts off with equal footing and u can choose the class u like and gear u like without limitation. I was thinking more like 24 hours Olympiad only Olympiad with no restrictions or match limits. I'd need to think of a viable donation system to make this work, however.

     

    Can you explain the emerald server in a bit more detail. Be as specific as possible. For example, currency from oly, what can u buy with this currency? And PVP currency is separate? PVPS allow you to buy talis, accessories, cloaks, etc? Do these cloaks and shit have good stats to give your char a boost? Details please.

    and yes ok empire! but the feature still suck, players dont care much about these new stuff / in pvp servers u dont hear about thing as " new player"  here the gear difference is max 15% from a newbie vs a donator full ,theres no such excuse, thats why the feature is ridiculous and very few pathetic players will pay for someone to get other guy killed, rly rly low xD

     

    Players who would do that should be ashamed for him self cuz he suck at this game

    And how you expect a bad player to pay with pvp coins if he suck at pvp? ,he will get revenge every single minute for 2 pvp coins reward? xD he will feed pvps just to have fun making bounties? then sure

     

    Thats why i ignore stupid players who make shouts with bad balance/ gladi op or whatever, they just suck and should quit immediately, always craving for flames in the game and disrespect gm. so they make fun of them self and become lame in front of others

     

    So this bounty reward is making them look even lamer!

    Thats why players wont like this feature, thats why its ridiculous again!

     

    EDIT: and if you hide the player name who did the bounty for this purpose, then the feature it self will become even lamer and no fun at all because we cant know who was lame enough to make a bounty cuz he cant kill the other guy

    well you are a robot spammer on this forum who try to get some guys on his server by spamming ur banner on every single fricking topic on mxc ,probably ur not even human ,so il just ignore you ,lol bot spammer

     

    besides i got nothing to do with l2 pow, just seeing that many ppl got disable by hop/top cuz theyre too stupid to make new identity and pays money + work a lot on project

     

    as i said, when i quit this game im going to make a guide just for hop/top approve 100% success rate "u get disabled only if he try to find the childest excuse or suspicion to disable you, if not then hop/top are just some bunch of smartass idiots who think they are better, the only difference between them and other ppl is the fact that the ppl has no knowledge about domaintoolsearch/main ip of computer/proxy/identity and so on"

    this idiot karasu adding servers on hopzone/topzone by taking their ip from beta so take care too he did it already on a lot of peple and then he send pm and laughing too :D

    Uncool bro. You can clear this up with admins over Skype though. Not the end of the world.

    You fail once again.... It's waste of time for you seriously. You think that Karasu let you open server and bring his players? Don't expect more than 80 real players. Change chronicle better.... Make freya, buy lameguard. Make something new, original. You will cry like before.  He's smarter than you can think. I don't tell you site of his project but soon you will find.  You have to suprise him... Open server in sunday. Dunno. Real execuse for you :D  rly sad xD

    L2 is an old game. There's really nothing fresh to do or new players to bring. You either make a full custom server which dies in a month because of imbalance or boredom, or you stick to the retail style and keep the game how it was (mostly). I don't think your advice is sound. Perhaps advice more suited is to get your shit together before you launch. Have an advertising campaign that is strong and worthy of the work you put in. Because players are lazy and spoiled, so it's a lot like trying to convince a kid to choose your toy and then figure out how to keep him playing with it for more than a day :D

    I love Olympiad, it's why I play L2 usually. I'm considering a side-project OLY server for the EU community. But I'd need to get a good impression of whether such a server would survive or how to structure the donation system. I've never played a strictly OLY server before.

     

    It wouldn't be a major project. Something to work on in between our larger projects.
