  1. After some weeks I found the time to open Photoshop again.

This is my first attempt to create a smudge sig.

Wanted to train my wrist :P. Everything is made from scratch nothing else was used such as C4D's etc except the lighting things in the middle.

So... this is it. Any comments appreciated.

  2. I could Imagine how it could look with some depth like MD said. It would be freaking awesome. The cape needs a little blur. Anyway I'm having the feeling it's a lil empty and the text  needs a lil improvement. The lighting source could  have a better placement. You could always play with the burn n dodge tool too. Anyway that's all from me since I g2g.

  3. That's pretty good for a school poster. The wally is pretty awesome and I agree with MD's comments although I have to add 2 more things.

Uno-) The text needs a little bit work, not only the A LYKEIOU one.

Dos-) It lacks a focal point. I mean I don't know where to look, her boobs, her face, what? It's a little messy this way.

And from my personal experience I know your classmates will love it cause I guess they know shit about photoshop. Personally everything I made for those partys they were like "OMG wtf" although it pretty sucked :P. Good Job

  4. I don't get why some people care if a sig is simple or whatever. Do you thing telling the other guy that his sig is simple for example "Ah you used C4D Gradient map smudge blabla bla" makes your e-penis bigger or does it increase your photoshop skills? Just focus on the outcome. Does it blend well in the eye? If yes what's the problem if it is a 1 sec sig or a 1 month sig... I mean come on guys. And I am not talking about sofaki, many guys do this. Anyway, ontopic, since I am a fan of "Simplicity" I really do love the MGS sig and the Toad sig is pretty well although the text could need some improvement.

  5. black and white brushes why?? specially black to i need black brush?

I think it's obvious. You just paint the area you want play a little with the blending modes if needed and lower the opacity a bit. This could create awesome lighting effects. But for a beginner I would suggest to stay just at the 300px White soft brush.
