Because there are ppl that dont have the brains to create something and keep failing, and than, in order to feel they still have a e-penis, when they see others want and can do something, they find other retards like themselves and start fuking around with those that never did anything negative to anyone so they make sure we fail :D And than we go rogue :) I would say GL with the server, but u ain't deserving it, and it hurt you because you know it. I checked the characters from the IP of this char in photo and it seems to be jakk, the one who DDoSed. Nice to meet you and still trying to make a bad image about us.

L2Silver is one thing. Own ip in a shared machine. Actions that disturb the normal functionality of my CVR registered company is another story. This shit gets serious. It does not make any difference for you players, but I have paid some services that i can not use. I dont ignore the situation, and as the dev checks what went wrong, i have no choice but going to the police to report a cyber crime. I have called (Telephone: + 31 70 302 5000 if you have any doubts) EUROPOL / EC3 division https://www.europol.europa.eu/ec3 and they advised me to go to the police and give them all information so they can start the investigation. I have skype logs, login logs (ofc is proxy but proxy dosent mean bullet proof), prints of the MXC topic where he is so proud of his actions, DDoS logs with the infected servers IPs, and any other detail that i can give i will :) I will do this, and i will take 1 h of my time every day to go again and again there until they will be so tired of me that they will take the needed measures. Been there and i am aware of it. The reason why there are not active schemes yet. What will be needed to be optimized will be. Starting with reviewing all the configs, mysql configs, GS configs and machine configs. But i still want a stronger beast. Just in case :D

I will start by stating that i am not any kind of java scripter l2j developer. I am just a guy with an internet connection that have a hobby wich involves other ppl and together they can create a community. But, i am also a result orientated type of person and in my every-day living, my job is to solve problems. If i have a problem with my PC, i google it or skype someone that can fix it. And what does this say about me as a community builder? Not much ain't? You dont need to be a mechanic to have a succesfull repair shop. A stong structure dosent have to be build by someone that is an ace in that field. But it needs a person can gather around him persons that are good in that field ;) My goal was to give rebirth to a community i loved and i was part of and i did it. Now, my goal changed and it became to take care of the community and i will do it. I do not care what issues will come along. If i get the site ddosed, i get a protection for it. Now when i see the machine dosent handle (and i got consultance from a person that is beyond a tiny gaming server when it comes to machine fiability) so well the needs generated by the number of members, i will upgrade to a more powerfull one. If it will be needed, we even toked in consideration the possibility of getting 2 machines in the same rack and split GS+LS from DB. As far as you can treat any problem like a chalange to find the optimal solution, this issues are not more than small stones in a boot. @Silv3rMoon about the skype conversation ... You keep on something that was either made already or that i got insurances that dosent have to do with it. And at the same time deny the arguments that i bring and not because i figured it out but because something that do this as his job figured it out. I think i will just go to sleep before i span :D because it was a hard day today. Great but hard. After the euphoria of the flawless opening to the nightmare of machine failing aint easy to handle (not to mention 3-4h of sleep/day in the last week). :rage: This unexpected crowded start have it's price. As i said in-game i was focused 99% on game side and forum reports that i did not paid attention to the machine side. As i see it just now, i will need to upgrade the machine to a stronger CPU one. Im not a specialist in it but as i informed about it it seems that hyperthreading makes the CPU usage to be sinusoidal and go from 15% to 30%. Before we buy the new machine with Xeon E5 which is far better than i7-975 server we try different setups to make it stable. It will be done as a priority the first days of next week. There are some awesome offers just now so i know it will be no problem to find it. I appologize for the inconvenient but this i never thought will be needed :D
