have we met in another server f0zi? Totally agree with Versus. What he said about donates and corruption is absolutely right. These are the 2 reasons that ruin most of the custom servers. Make sure to offer a reasonable and not in any way op donate list that will only include "services" or items that are 100% available to the last player of the server. I do not need to talk about corruption , u've said this urself too , corruption is poison for a server. I'm pretty sure i'll still be able to smack that ass even if u edit ur char though :P (But seriously, dont xD) Just like Versus said Your plan nevertheless is solid, fixing everything and adjusting balance should be TOP priority instead of adding new stuff, server already has a lot. That's my 2 cents, i'm really excited about L2Nexus, so are my friends, we want to see something unique and we totally respect the time and energy you've put into this. Minimize the mistakes at start and you'll have more than 1k players. That my opinion as well. Keep up the good work , and i believe that u will have great results.

Let's hope that the server wont be targeted, altough most private servers are eventually. So imo u should consider buying the best protection u can afford. Densekserw i dont know you or ur clan. I hope that u're strong. To all of the fellow gamers who read this topic and are waiting for this server , plz bring all of ur friends so we can have some good times in L2 Nexus.

No reason to do that. He already said , that there is no need for the server to hit high online numbers from the first day. Also the server will not be ready on the first days , so it's best to have less ppl. Plus , i suppose that the first days will be "tests/reports/fixes/restarts/roll backs , etc" (maybe a wipe too) , so the less ppl the server has , the better.

If he was not working he would have no need of keeping the ppl interested in the server. Good to know that he is back to work. U say a few days after christmas. Is it going to be this year?? P.s. what about the forum?

Yep , u're right there. It will be a lot easier for you to control with less ppl. Create your forum with the proper sections etc. open a test server first (beta mode) where we can test , report etc and you can start working with the help of the community. It's good that u feel that way. Most guys i've tried to help with their servers didnt even care , i think i cared more about them for their own project , lol. I've been through this many times , so i'm not surpised or dissapointed , mb a little "Sad" but noth more. I just hope that u are willing to go on , and that this will really happen eventually. No prob , i'm happy to help , just ask!

No need to thank me dude. By helping you , i am also helping myself and my clannies. We all want to play in an awesome server , really bad , so i would like you to have an awesome server up and running. Great then , finish up ur stuff , set a "live date" and see how it goes. hNoke can catch up later , using the tests / reviews of ur community as his help/guide as well. Plus , u dont have to hit online counts of thousands from day 1. Give it some time , u may have "few" ppl in the first days , but i'm sure that if u offer a good , quality server , more ppl will be joining daily. It sure beats the version where u start having more ppl , losing them day by day. :) Btw , as i said , i'm one of those who can offer my help , so feel free to ask anything , i'll be happy to help if its in my power ofc. Well...that's rather unfortunate... I too was waiting for your server to open , so me and my clannies who have been wanting to play L2 in a well made custom server for years now , could finally play. I can understand how you feel right now, the same thing happened to me 1 1/2 year back. I 've been playing L2 for some years now. I 've tried LOTS of different servers , retail and custom ones. My suggestion to you is this. Do ur part of the work and open the server when you are ready. Even if it's unfinished , i'm sure that it wont be as boring as the retail servers nor will it be worse than the other custom servers are. So , finish ur part , open the server , and i'm sure that there will be a few people in ur community (including me) who will be willing to help with tests, reports , ideas etc. Don't think so bad of hNoke , it's normal to lose interest and stop working on L2 , the game itself is made that way. I'm not saying what he did is not bad , but shit happens... Maybe he will have the reason he needs to start working if the server is up and running (even if its not in the state you want it to be) Just like my friend Royal said , i'm not playing L2 anymore , but i really wanted to play on Nexus. So , imo , finish ur stuff and give it a shot. Got nothing to lose. A friendly advice.
