[help] Choosing OS on Linux

Hi everybody ^^

i need to know wich one from the next list i can use for start my server, because i use to have my server on Windows, but now i am moving to LINUX, and the enterprise i am asking the dedicated host showed me a list of OS i can choose from what i will use, here are some of them...

-Linux Plesk 9.5

-Parallels Small Business Panel (BETA)

-Openfiler NSA 2.3

-Debian 5.0 Stable

-Ubuntu Server 10.10

-Ubuntu Desktop 8.04

-Red Hat Ent. Linux 5

-CentOS

-Gentoo 10.1

-Linux Virtuozzo

and some others too

 

So i expect you can tell wich one i must choose, because i need to move on my server as fast as i can

Do you know to use any of those?If yes choose one you can use.

i know Ubuntu Desktop, no one else xD .. but i was wondering if in any of them can run a server .. anyway i think yes as some body told me ^^

i still need to know wich one is the best for running servers to start learning that OS^^
