Hello there I got a problem with my terminal in ubuntu 10.4 .When I type sudo apt-get and a software name to install/download it pops up a command that asks for password.Thing is it doesn't let me type,just press enter and boom password incorrect;/

What can be done:o

leva@ubuntu:~$ sudo apt-get install dia

[sudo] password for leva:

 

[Hax0r]

This is how it should be...it is hidden.

You type but you can't see it, so none else can see it.

 

Just type your password and press enter.
