General Rules

 

    While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. Our decision is final in these matters.

    Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts, or the such.

    Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed.

    Advertising, spamming and trolling is not allowed. This includes using the forum, email, visitor messages, blog comments, picture comments and private message systems to spam other members.

    Please wait 24 Hours before bumping posts.

    We also do not allow posts or links to sites that are sexual in nature or violate SMF community standards. Maxcheaters.com® team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.

    Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.

    Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed.

    We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice.

    If you are going to make a share in English on these forums, please also post a Greek Translation of your topic in Greek Sections (If you are Greek!).

    Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.

    You cannot post any affiliate or referral links, or post anything asking for a referral. Such posts will be subject to removal.

    You cannot post advertisements or notices for contests.

    We also reserve the right to ban anyone who wilfully violates the forum rules

 

 

Advertising Services and Solicitation

 

    We do not allow people to post threads or to send private messages or emails to users here that advertise or solicit any products, services,websites,forums, funds or donations. Explicit advertising and solicitating in signatures is also prohibited

 

 

Avatars and signatures must follow these guidelines

 

    Animated avatars are allowed!

    Avatars that may be confused with official staff avatars are not allowed.

    Insulting,sexual content,or any other violating avatars are not allowed.

    Use of the Admininstrator's logo in avatars is not allowed.

    Animated images in a signature are allowed

    Signature Links are disabled.

    Signature images must follow general rules,we also reserve the right to remove any signatures who wilfully violates the forum rules

    Signature sizes cannot be more than 550 x 150 pixels. More than these sizes will be removed without warning.

 

 

Karma Rules

 

    Karma can give Staffers and Platinum Members only.

    Karma abusing, without any reasons is not allowed.

    When you give karma make as more specific as you can in description reasons.

    Karma in pms is not allowed for any reasons.

    Use [more] and [less] buttons once in a Topic, no double karma is allowed.

    Karma abusing means -1, or even ban.

    Users with -4 karma or less will be banned.

 

Offtopic and Spam Section Rules

 

 

    First of all Maxcheaters is not a chat room, if you want to chat go to other irc clients, or even msn , facebook, but not here. We are a forum.

 

Moderator Rules

 

 

- Moderators:

 

    Global Moderators is the highest rank available in Maxcheaters, so you have to be very carefull and patient with members.

    L2, WOW and CS moderators have full access in specific boards.

    Only Global and L2 Moderators can ban a user.

    Making a Topic Sticky in Private Servers is not allowed , unless you have the permission from Administrator to do so.

    All moderators must follow strictly Maxcheaters General Rules.

    All moderators must not ban a user for minor issues,unless its important or violating our forum General Rules.

    All moderators must remove all useless,meaningless,and against our rules topics and posts immediately.

 

- Locking:

 

    Locking a topic that hasnt been answered is not allowed.

    Lock a topic only if its solved, and the threadstarter requested that.

    Locking a topic that is out of main subject isnt allowed, unless there is nothing more to discuss. Warn for locking first.

    All locked topics must have a reply with a reason why its locked.

    Locking an old bumped thread isnt allowed, unless there is nothing more to discuss.

    Locking a usefull share isnt allowed ,and useless replies must bw removed in order to keep it in order.

    Before locking consider to remove useless and spam replies first.

 

- Bumping:

 

    Bumping Topics isnt allowed and must be punished with one dekarma.

    A bumped post reply, must be deleted (if its useless) in order to unbump old thread,locking isnt a solution.

 

- Punishments:

 

    First bumping: one dekarma, second bumping: warning, third bumping: ban.

    First spam: warning, Second spam: one dekarma, third spam: ban.

    Advertising other leeching forum: Ban.

    Sexual or warez topics: 5 days ban , second time: Permanent ban.

    Flaming or swearing: warning, second flaming: dekarma , third flaming: ban.

    Wrong karma once: warning or dekarma, karma abusing: permanent ban.

    All other issues pm Maxtor.

 

 

Anti-Leeching Rules:

 

    Leeching Maxcheaters® Topics,Sections,Stracture,Name,Theme isnt allowed

    Maxcheaters sources are made from their members, who are responsible for them.

    Maxcheaters leeching only one source isnt allowed.If you see something like this pm Maxtor

 

 

Spam and Flames Rules:

 

    In this forum we dont tolerate any threating or flaming comments, such replys will be deleted and user will be banned

    Spam is not allowed, users will be warned and if they keep spamming they will be banned

 

Language Rules:

 

    In this forum we speak only English and Greek. Only one specific board for Russians. All other languages not allowed.

    Speak English only in English Sections , and Greek only in Greek Sections

    In sections that language hasnt been noticed,you only speak English! Offtopic section must have a [GR] or [ENG] prefix in subject.

 

Chatting rules:

 

    You can chat freely, but do NOT spam with 1/2/3 world replies, and useless ones.

    Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.

    Advertising your servers is not allowed on the chat room, there is a specific board for this job.

    Advertising other sites/posting warez or/and porn sites is not allowed, our decision is final in these cases.

IMPORTANT for Donators/Platinums

- Becoming a Platinum or a donator does NOT mean you cant get a ban or restrictions or warning if caught by a moderator or admin if you abuse your abilities(karma,lock,unhide text to others) or flame,spam,rezzing dead/old topics (dumb)

 

- All rules may change without warning.

From now, every karma mistake, abuse, etc will have a punishment: (by karma mistake, abuse, etc i mean "every karma we (the moderators) must fix"

 

    1 Mistake / 1 week ban

    2nd mistake / 1 month ban

    3rd mistake / perma ban

Now about the rules:

 

-Spamming and trolling is not allowed outside the spam section (we are still banning those "trolls/spammers", so no, that rule is not gonna be changed.

-Each user should have 1 account only (unless he gets banned ofc) why would you need to have several accounts? to vote for yourself on a poll? lol.

you gotta take i consideration that this helps the globals to do their job easier so no, its not gonna change.

-About signatures size, i personally think that signatures must be something that doesnt bother you while you are reading the forum, so i'm not gonna change that rule either.

 

about the karma rules, i'll edit the "1 week ban for" >> "warning by pm" and "2 weeks ban" for "1 week ban"
