[Help] Vista Password

A friend of mine forgot his password.

He has Windows Vista.

 

 

Any solution?

 

Well, he tried to type his password as usual, but an "error" appeared saying that it had expired and he had to renew it.

His password was written with dots between the characters or something like that.

Then he had to set a new password and retype it to confirm it, but he pressed "Cance' and then the pc asked for the password again but he forgot what he typed before.

As far as I know his windows are original.

He has to login with the safe mode and to change the password.
