Edit: I changed the IP in l2.ini to 127.0.0.1 but it didnt help...still cant use ingame walker.... I see no skills when i log in

I dont think that has to do with the walker. Im not entirly sure but i guess its something about the skill/item IDs. Probably the ones from ur system folder dont match the walker ones. Ive had this problem on  a server i used to play on. What i did was copy/paste files from other system folders(not any of the files required to connect to the particular server ofc) and then the skills and items showed up in the walker options. Still tho not all the items were recognized. Iwas getting many blank rows in the walker options. Dono if what i said is correct but if not please enlighten us and maybe suggest a way to fix it :D

Edit: Ijust downloaded the win7 walker followd Oracle's instructions and it all went okay. Walker verified but im getting the same problem as Otepac. No skills or items in the walker options and what i wrote above didnt help me ^^.

Yup same as he said! I get verifed but when i get ingame i just can't use it! Im using correct server ip and 2106 port.... I also changed IP to 127.0.0.1 in my l2.ini but still cant use it. Dunno whats wrong and i'd be really glad if someone could help us! Thanks

Edit: Is it maybe because im trying to use that walker on Interlude (c6) server?

Okay so this has been written in one of the sticky posts in the bots section:

"What the hell is a L2Info.dat?

It's inside IG Walker folder. It contains all the info the IG walker shows ingame. The IG Walker do not read your itemname-e.dat to list the items on ground, for example, it has an internal database to show it. That's the reason why custom-made items (like in many private servers - like mana herbs, gold bars, whatever) show in white on IG Walker, it doesn't have that item on it's database and consequently, it will not show on any listing of items. This guide is NOT to fix that problem. At least not yet as I haven't found a way to do it."

So i suppose the problem with the blank walker settings is caused by this file. But... what i did was take the l2info file from a walker that i used on my windows xp and i know worked for the same system folder and the same server(the only difference is the operation system and the version of the walkers) replaced the IG OracleL2Walker 2.17f L2info file with the "working" one and yet when i logged in the settings were again empty.

Edit: I tried the out of game walker and it works flawlessly verifies, logs in, skills and items are all shown. So i tried to copy the OOG L2infoB.dat to the IG folder but once again it didnt work. I don't know what to conclude anymore seems like it was all wrong :S

Lol i guess i missed something in the OOG walker...i can login and everything but i can not target anyone or anything xD pretty useless. I guess thats server protection related issue.

Gettin this msg:

22:38:14 Select Target 4810633e Fail

22:38:18 Select Target 4810629d Fail

22:38:22 Select Target 48a17610 Fail

22:38:26 Select Target 48a17174 Fail

Anyway, does anyone know how to implement the "oog walker database" into the "ig database"

Ingame works  great ! For some reason oog disconnects right after I log in. As long as ingame works I have no complaints. Thanks for the share !

Hi

I am running win xp and did exactly the following steps:

changed the hosts, found the server ip with netstat -n as smog said above and changed the Forward.bat like this:

tcptunnel --local-port=2106 --remote-host=89.45.100.160 --remote-port=2106 --stay-alive

and started the l2walker and pressed run but before getting to the server selection screen, client frizes. Any ideaas why? thx

I Had it too at W7 (and so i post the solution for the future readers)

Just make sure u don't have checked the option "Simulation GameG".

I just dunno how that causes the unexpected problem btw

    • Hello Guys. Lf l2 pride pack + source. Pref Gracia Final.
    • His posts clearly show how unprofessional he is. He acts as though there are no stable and well-established projects that people actually enjoy. PlayInera, for example, is one of those projects where the staff works hard to deliver a solid, stable server experience.
    • You think you have good “l2j” files until you try running a low-rate server.   Saying “there’s not a single L2 server out there worth mentioning” just shows you probably only know the first 10 servers on voting sites, the same voting sites that owned by them. You call the forum dead, yet you’re here discussing your next projects… From my perspective, you don’t seem ready to run any L2 server in 2025. Around 70% of players are here for RMT or ask for payment just to bring their clan, and you really think the community cares about Premium or donations or files quality? The other 20% spend their time downloading and deleting servers all day, playing for one day, then quitting for whatever random reason. And finally, the last 10% are the only ones who actually play because they genuinely like your features, your server files, and your overall project. Good luck 🙂
    • I genuinely admire your bravery - in an age where AI can whip up something better in under a minute, you still stubbornly try to sell these "projects" of yours on a forum that’s been clinically dead for years. That’s no longer determination, that’s digital archaeology. I just can’t tell whether you’re actually trying to make money, or simply testing how much we can endure before we ask an AI to generate you some actual talent.   And ofc AI will make it for free, $220 saved.
    • I’m glad I’m not the only one who appreciates Maxthor’s involvement in group gay orgies, he can’t be bothered to reply to messages, but covering the entire forum in gay lights is absolutely no issue for him. As for the project - the forum is packed with feedback from the testers, the lads are spending every spare moment fixing even the tiniest typo in an NPC’s text. I’ll share the links as soon as I get the green light. Edit: I forgot to add that the GM recruitment will begin once the links are released. Three people will be accepted, and they’ll work in a three-shift rotation so that there’s always a GM available online.
