Blazer Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 hi all. again me. I'm trying to make draconic black for dwarf and i have a problem. i did all correctly but in game up_body and low_body textures are messed up. here are some screens: here is the armorgrp line: http://img130.imageshack.us/i/92079037.png/ here is the unrealED texture file: http://img687.imageshack.us/i/65515325.jpg/ and here is the messed up texture: http://img245.imageshack.us/i/shot00013bu.jpg/ and http://img197.imageshack.us/i/shot00012bb.jpg/ can someone help me? :| I'm desperate.
LauQ Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 What do the quotes mean in the armorgrp.dat lines? I use and recommend using FileEdit, which can be downloaded here: http://www.maxcheaters.com/forum/index.php?topic=69451.0 I am guessing it has to do with the texture of the lower part being assigned to the upper part as well; just try again with this fileEdit :) It could also be because the model isn't exported well; but I assume you just use an existing armor(?) Good luck, and don't hesitate asking, there are (used to be) plenty of people around here with knowledge and experience :)
Blazer Posted December 3, 2009 Author Posted December 3, 2009 i use L2Dat_EncDec, that's why those line have quotes. guess i have to remake the texture in unrealED. and this armor is draconic, i have just extracted the TGA from MDwarf.utx and changed it's color in PS cs3. idk why for all other races is working, only for this is not....
takhs7 Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 simply u have confused textures man.. your texture in your screen from unrealed is not for dwarf male... possible u try to add human texture to dwarf or something. ::)
Blazer Posted December 3, 2009 Author Posted December 3, 2009 well i used female dwarf texture instead male. what a big mistake. i'm so stupid....takhs7. and tanks lauq for giving me that link with file edit. i forgot that raule posted a working one for ct2.3.
